The Originating Moment

Voice Empowerment was born from a request from a friend for help. I had just recently returned to Toronto after pursing some more advanced training in Switzerland and New York for a few years.
I was profoundly touched by the impact I had on this gifted, intelligent man who ran a multi-million
dollar company, had studied at the London School of Economics, and sported an MBA from Harvard.

The ensuing years of refinement of my approach for business clients, studying the needs, and problems of communication in business birthed the very natural, heartfelt approach I take with Voice Empowerment. The support of some very 'interesting' and influential mentors and advisors created the basis for what Voice Empowerment offers today. I've coached the wife of the former head of the IMF, profs from MIT, Michigan State, and a whole raft of interesting people all over the world.

People matter. At the end of the day, you need to let them know that, WHILE you speak.

I speak to have ideas heard. So do you. Life is too short to be bored by what you say, or to have people bored listening. Companies tend to profit when people actually pay attention in big and small meetings.

Spicy and funny, this gal's got an eye for detail and a vision that can take you places. Trained on several continents, she speaks French, English, and German fluently. She has won scholarships internationally for voice and movement.

Mary Michaela has even spent months in silence on Taoist/Buddhist meditation retreats. Yes, it's actually true that she was silent for months at a time, and unlikely as that seems today... it really did happen. Apparently she was loud in her silence... whatever that means...
