MASH-UP!
A mash-up of speaking and hilarity
A MASH-UP is an event that helps you learn to think on your feet and hone your networking skills while enjoying an informal evening out.
Practise spontaneous speaking in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Get on-the-spot coaching for projection, organization and body language. Deliver off-the-wall topics in timed presentations. Create ad-lib speeches in groups, pairs and individually. You’ll have little time to prepare and less time to deliver.
Sample Topic: Ostriches replace cars within 5 years.
TEAM: 5 slides, 5 minutes, 10 people, 2 minutes each
INDIVIDUAL: Discuss 3 points : 2 min prep, 3 min talk
Each team will be given a designated cheering section to energize the evening, break down barriers, give positive feedback and provide support.
MASH-UP! is designed as a light-hearted, high energy event.
